Kagozaiku Naniwa saikunin Ichida Shōshichirō is a print by Utagawa Kunisada (1786–1865), the most prolific and commercially successful designer of the Utagawa school. It records a feat of kagozaiku, Japanese basketwork, by the craftsman Ichida Shōshichirō of Naniwa, the old name for Osaka.

The design is a colour woodblock. Large woven figures, sculpted from bamboo and wicker, were popular attractions at Edo-period sideshows, and Kunisada gives the basketwork its full scale and texture, the patterned weave set out clearly against the ground. The print stands as both a portrait of a marvel and a record of a named master's skill.

In a room the print reads as lively and unusual, a glimpse of old Osaka spectacle. It suits a study, a hallway, or a creative workspace, where its strong shapes and warm tones hold attention. They sit easily beside wood and natural textiles.

Utagawa Kunisada (1786–1865), also widely known as Toyokuni III, was one of the most commercially successful, prolific, and influential Ukiyo-e woodblock print artists of 19th-century Japan.

Born in Edo (now Tokyo), he joined the prestigious Utagawa school as a young apprentice under Utagawa Toyokuni I, from whom he later inherited the 'Toyokuni' name. Kunisada's career spanned over half a century, during which he produced an enormous number of prints, estimated to be well over 20,000 designs.
